A tech company with a twist
The Twist
What kind of a Twist is this?
Our twist is related to our way of working. We are a “teal” type of an organization meaning there are no classical management hierarchies and structures. For us there is no clear line between “professional life” and “personal life” for we view individuals as a whole, a whole in which all parts are important and cooperate for the common purpose of the organization.
We know it sounds like “voodoo” for Romania and the culture we live in. An organization where there are no bosses? How is that? An organization where its members show up “wholly”? An organization where we are more interested in “how we do” than “what we do”?
Bear with us.
Who we are
Roxana, Emilian, Crina, Alex, István, Cristian, Marta, Corina, Cătălin, Tavi and our collaborators Florina, Florin, Valentina, Lucia.
This is us. A team of people who want to do things differently: with an atypical internal organization for Romania, in a completely opposite cultural context, with a value set that we wish to embody (not just have them on the site). We are on this path together for more than 2 years.
We started in 2019 as a spin-off from jpard and adapted to the needs of one client with a self-management organizational model. We remain among the business entities of jnnovate Group and continue to benefit from the know-how available there, however our organizational model differs from all the others’.
How we work
What does this way of working mean in practice?
Our self-management way of working helps us to embody our values:
Wholeness
Evolution
Care
Meaningfulness
How do we act today so that our values mean 1% more than yesterday? – one of the questions we ask ourselves often.
We like de-centralised structures, made up by small teams taking responsibility for their own activities and for the way they interact with other parts of the organization. Our roles are not fixed and prescriptive, but fluid and self-generated considering our interests and the purpose of the organization (which we also define together).
“Teal” type of organisations, towards which we also aspire, offer an immense degree of freedom to the team members. This freedom comes together with a series of responsibilities that in other organisations do not appear.
It resembles the approach of an IT start-up, multiplied a few times. What we mentioned above makes the organization to be always in motion, always a work in progress, always adapting to the market and its mechanisms, always searching.
The organization, as a whole, is always … UNTITLED.
